Header Colour change

Hii everyone,

I am using eleven40 genesis theme for my website. I want to change the header Colour and footer colour , but I can’t change. I am already try to change the colour code from theme editor site but it not work. If any one have idea how to change please give it to me. Or if any one know HTML then give me the code so that I can change the colour from additional CSS.
